With more than ten years of experience, Mark is a passionate expert in the field of bio-pharmaceutical process development. He worked together with several Top 25 Pharma companies in different projects targeting their needs in process development and understanding. After his PhD he decided to found a company together with other enthusiastic engineers from the fields of process modeling and control. Together they want to turn their passion into a career.
Roger Dalmau Diaz
Roger graduated in Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC - EUETIB) and a master in Industrial Engineering (speciality Electrical, UPC - ETSEIAT). He is working on the implementation of the Novasign toolboxes and the design, programming and automation of laboratory equipment.

Benjamin has a background in biomedicine, molecular biology, biotechnology and bioprocess engineering, With his experience in microbial and mammalian bioprocesses, e.g., E. coli, yeast, CHO and HEK cells, his main emphasis is the acquisition and lead of hybrid modeling projects for Novasign.
Data Scientist Downstream Processing
Maximilian is a trained Downstream Process Engineer. He is currently developing hybrid-models to describe TFF systems while also working on his PhD at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences. Maximilian holds a Master Degree in Technical Chemistry from the University of Technology Vienna.

Within the scope of his master’s degree Biotechnology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna (BOKU), Tobias joined the team for his Master Thesis in downstream processing, focusing on the implementation and use of hybrid-models in Single-Pass Tangential Flow Filtration and Ultra/ Diafiltration.
Ignasi Bofarull Manzano

Ignasi is a Biotechnologist by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He is currently doing his master's degree in Biotechnology with the specialization in Bioprocess Engineering at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna. For his Master Thesis, he is developing hybrid models to describe the behaviour of different biopharmaceuticals in Crossflow Filtration, thereby supporting Novasign to model different unit operations and to implement them in the Novasign Toolbox
Master Student Upstream Processing
Lina is doing her Master in Biotechnology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna. She is currently working on her Master Thesis in the field of upstream process development applying iDoE, thereby supporting the Novasgin approach of Quality-by-Design implementation and experimental Design of fermentations.
